Consideration of the complaint of Yadigar Sadigova, adviser of the leader of the “Musavat” party, sentenced to six years in prison finished today in the Shirvan Court of Appeal.
The court partially granted the appeal, and reduced the sentence from 6 to 4, according to Sadigov’s lawyer Adil Ismailov. He said that the defense tried to obtain an acquittal, and despite the reduction of imprisonment term, probably a cassation complaint will be filed against this decision.
